Kindergarten Offers Are Here!

The Department of Education sent offer letters to families at the end of April. Families can respond to their offers through June by either accepting or declining the seat online at: MySchools.nyc. Once you have submitted your acceptance response, we will reach out to you regarding the registration process.

1st – 5th Grade Enrollment for 2020-2021 Academic Year

If you are zoned for PS 234 and would like to enroll for next academic year, please fill out this form. We will reach out to you regarding the registration process within 1-2 business days of receiving your submission.

Mayor de Blasio and Chancellor Carranza Announce Remote Learning for Remainder of 2019-2020 School Year

After consulting with public health experts about the ongoing trajectory of the virus, and with educators about the potential for continued disruption for the remainder of the year, they have decided that New York City school buildings will not reopen during the 2019-2020 school year. Teachers and students will finish the school year in remote learning. 

Learning Devices: We are committed to closing the remainder of the digital divide for each of our kids. If you still need a device, please fill out the Remote Learning Device Request Form to get a device from the Department of Education or email Magda at mlenski@ps234.org to request a PS234 device.

Remote Learning Survey: Learning at home has created an entirely new approach to education, and we want to hear how it has been working for you and your family. The Department of Education is asking you to take a short survey to help them collect feedback about your experience with remote learning.

The New York City Department of Education is committed to making three free meals available daily for any New Yorker. Any New Yorker who wants one can get three free meals a day at more than 400 Meal Hubs across the city. Find a Meal Hub location near you by clicking this link.

  • Meals can be picked up at all Meal Hubs 7:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday
    • Meals Hubs will operate for children and families from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, and for adults from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
    • Parents and guardians may pick up meals for their children
    • No registration or ID required
