There is a volunteer opportunity for everyone. Not only will you be supporting the school and people who spend the day with your child, but it is also a great way to get to know other parents in the community.
No time? That’s okay! You can help us for an hour or two on weekends during our community events. We always need people to set up, manage stations during the event, and put the school back together when the event is done.
Some time? Great! We have some chair positions that are discreet time commitments. We need people to do everything! For example, help with picture day, lice checks, bake sales, and smaller committees on our bigger events.
Lots of time? Can’t help yourself? You’re in the right place! We raise the bulk of our funds from four events: Spring Auction, Annual Appeal (ongoing!), Taste of Tribeca and Friends & Fashion. We’d love to have you join the teams of one of these events! Check out the Events page for a description of each of these key fundraisers.
When Parents Volunteer, all Students Benefit
We also need dedicated people to participate in our PTA Executive Board. The Executive Board meets monthly and helps direct the PTA. Annual elections are held in June. As with our events, there are some positions that have a flexible time commitment and some that require more time and energy.
Finally, we need you at monthly PTA meetings! Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month and are a great way to learn about what is happening at school. If you are feeling out of the loop, come to a meeting. You’ll be looped in before you leave!
